Academic Portfolio
of Rei Wolfsohn

After a long personal journey, I graduated with two BA's from Hunter College at the City University of New York and University of Massachusetts Lowell, with a double major in English and Anthropology, and a double minor in History and Journalism. The experience taught me how to integrate across disciplines, and how to apply lessons from different arenas and times of my life to my education, with a more sophisticated perspective on writing and research. I shortly completed my MA in English at Arizona State University where I learned new ways of distributing research, writing academically, and teaching. Throughout my life, and academic career, the pursuit of self-knowledge within me and understanding that of the characters I read about is of primary interest, including but not limited to their relationship to nature and socio-cultural context. My next adventure will be to complete my PhD.
